Grief & Loss
Losing someone or something deeply important is a distinct and great pain. Grief is a natural process, meant to move people through experiences of extreme hardship. When the feelings of grief and loss are too constant or overwhelming, they interfere with our ability to function and serious concerns can arise. How we move through this is distinct to each person.
Grieving is a personal healing process, distinct to each individual’s situation. We are all meant to grieve, and suffering is prolonged when we avoid grief or are isolated with it. Finding an empathetic, supportive space allows us to move through grief safely.
